A period that lasts only a few hours can occur for various reasons and is not necessarily a definitive symptom of menopause. Menopause is characterized by irregular periods, hot flashes, and other symptoms due to hormonal changes, typically after a woman has gone 12 consecutive months without menstruating. Short periods could also result from factors like stress, hormonal imbalances, or other medical conditions. If concerns arise, consulting a healthcare professional is advisable.
Going by your age it is possible that you are starting the menopause and that your missed period is just the start of the irregularity of the menstrual cycle that is a symptom of menopause but you will need to see your doc, he/she should run a few tests for you and that will tell you what is going on.
Normal
sit in a tub of warm water from three hours and it would stop our period for a while!
If menstrual bleeding has stopped due to menopause, then no. You can no longer get pregnant. If you are not going through menopause, then having your period stop is usually a sign that you already are pregnant. However, it could be due to stress, drastic weight loss, or certain diseases. Take a pregnancy test and/or see your doctor to know for sure.
Well. the rotation of the earth. But my question is, why would you just "obsrve a star for a period of a few hours"?
Nothing!
If this happens a day or a few hours before your period then this is normal.
No, you do not usually get menopause at age 13. Menopause is when your menstrual cycle ends forever and that occurs between the ages of 45 and 55 give or take a few years. You can, however, get your period (the beginning of your menstrual cycle) at that age.
Peri-menopause and menopause are two different things, one leading to the other. You are likely experiencing peri-menopause, which can go on for a few years before menopause actually takes place. www.menopause.org/ is an excellent site with all kinds of information about symptoms, therapies and support.
My gynecologist told me when I was in my early 50's and still having an irregular period no more than 3 or 4 months apart, but sometimes closer together, after having had a regular period for years and years, that if I haven't had a period for 6 months, I was probably in menopause and no longer in perimenopause.
over a period of a few hours
sometimes your period can be irregular.... stress, illnesses, etc can affect your period. If this lasts more than a few months, see a doctor
