Is teenage pregnancy the teenagers fault?

I don't believe it is the full answer neglect may be a cause of teenage pregnancy yet many teenagers who feel neglected have not automatically gone to sex for the answer!!! I have reason to believe that teenage pregnancy is caused by young girls who are either not educated in the risks they take, boredom of nothing for young people to do and/or the changing expectations of young girls. To add to this another cause of teenage pregnancy is the expectations for children and teenagers to grow up quickly through a variety of different reasons ie the loss of a parent.

Sadly,, the teenager could have been raped, and therefore have no control over her getting pregnant.

The teenager may be sexually active and not have planned for a baby- which is more common.

However, there are many teenagers who plan to become pregnant, and will do whatever it takes to fall pregnant.

No, teens getting pregnant comes from all walks of life. Lack of sex education and more open relationships with the parents to talk about it and help getting Birth Control and for them to accept their teen is in a relationship is usually the cause.

It is a cause to a large extend , a child without parental guidance is like a lost sheep.
