I am a mother of two small children. We are currently trying to have a third. I am always very regular. I am fifteen days past my period date, but have had no symptoms of pregnancy. I bought the Clear Blue Digital pregnancy test and both tests gave me a NOT PREGNANT. My gut instinct tells me that this isn't the most reliable one out there. I am going to go buy a First response tomorrow. Also, any pregnancy test usually will say that it can detect the hormone a few days before you are due. Not all of them will say this. You will just have to read the boxes. I and good luck to you!!
AnswerThis test is so crapy! I took too one at night and one in the morning...the one at night said PREGNANT! So I thought I was....then...in the morning I took the other to be sure and it said NOT PRENANT? GREAT! now I have to go back to the store and get another one, trust that it will not be this one and it will not be digital!!!! P.S. when I took them out on the PREGNANT one there was one blue line and one very faint line, on the NOT pregnant one dark blue line but no second line! Stupid Test! I give it an F! With no Stars. AnswerNo. It is no good! I just bought it today. It said clearly not pregnant, but when you take the test out of the digital holder, as you are supposed to do: you see another window, and mine had 2 lines. I did some research online, and nobody can tell if that means you are pregnant or not. It was also expensive. Do not buy it is my advise!!! Just get the normal clearblue test, you won't have any confusion. AnswerIt is good to know that about the Digital Clearblue Easy test because I used it the day of my missed period and it told me "not pregnant". My breasts are sore, my period is always regular, and I always have and can feel the pre-cramps and nothing yet. I will go out and buy a different kind of test! AnswerI took 4 of the Digital Clearblue Easy test and they all came out pregnant so they are good sometimes. even though they are kind of expensive, and i had 2 lines on mine and they all said pregnant. AnswerI do not recommend this test I took 2 of them they came out negative I also took 3 first response they also came out negative the only test to give me a true readign was EPT i highly recommend these tests if you are having problems iwth the at home tests you can go to your doctor for a blood test which is more accurate and will solve all these problems hope everyhting works out for you Good Luck and God Bless!!!I think pregnancy can be detected as early as 21 days after conception through a test such as ClearBlue, that's whether you are on a period or not.
The standard time frame for taking a pregnancy test is the 1st day after your missed period. Many home tests these days (like the clearblue easy) can detect the levels of hormones that indicate pregnancy 4 days before your period is due. If you are sure about your cycle length and are positive that you are 4 days late, then yes a pregnancy test can easily detect the pregnancy hormones.
Superdrug is a more sensitive test (10miu) meaning it can detect lower levels of hormones (early pregnancy). Clearblue is more like 25miu, meaning you would have to have higher hormone levels (later pregnancy) before it picked it up.
A home pregnancy test can detect the pregnancy hormone starting around 10 days after conception.
Usually if you miss your expected period, but now there are tests that can detect a pregnancy tests a little before your period is suppose to be.
Blood test are good for women who do not have enough hcg in their urine to detect on a home urine pregnancy test. A blood test can detect pregnancy before a hpt can. Hopes this help
No, because they would have to test for pregnancy to detect it. They can use the same blood to test it though if you request it.
A week after having sex is too soon to take a test. Although the test says you can use it 4 days before a period is due, it will be more accurate (and cheaper) if you wait until your period is late.
5 days before your period is due, or at about 5 or 6 weeks of pregnancy
Can the progesterone blood test detect pregnancy?
the most sensitive test on the first and second day after a missed period was First Response Early Result. It appeared to detect pregnancy in 95 percent of women. The second most sensitive test was Clearblue Easy. In a follow up study it appeared to detect 80 percent of pregnancies.
A pap smear can't detect pregnancy. A pregnancy test is needed to detect pregnancy.
