No it cannot, because it is not a somatic cell (typical epithelial). Egg is a gamete, that has a haploid DNA, haploid means only half of whats needed for a baby, the other half comes from the father. The egg dies and your gynecologist is guaranteed to have a patient for the next 20 or so years. The myth that it gets reabsorbed makes no sense because firstly it dies, decomposes, and since the DNA of the egg is incomplete, if it doesn't start decomposing healthy cells and your fallopian tubes, it may get reabsorbed inside the cell, causing a high risk of DNA entering the cell nucleus and cause a potential mutation that can mutate into an oncogene and hence lead to a cancerous growth.
It could be fertilized or unfertilized depending if sperm is present.

An unfertilized egg is an egg that has not met with sperm to create a zygote. If an egg is not fertilised then it is reabsorbed into the body and a female then goes on to menstruate.
An unfertilized egg is released from the ovary into the fallopian tube during ovulation. If the egg is not fertilized by sperm within 12-24 hours, it disintegrates and is absorbed by the body or expelled through menstruation.
Once the follicle erupts and the egg escapes, it enters the fallopian tube. Cilia on the lining of the fallopian tubes push the egg along on it's way to the uterus. If the egg is fertilized while on its way to the uterus, it implants in the endometrium when it reaches the uterus. If it is not fertilized, it is shed in the monthly menstruation cycle.
An egg cannot travel from the ovary to the anus. An egg, however, DOES travel from the ovary, to the fallopian tube, down into the uterus. If fertilized, the egg will implant in the uterine wall. If unfertilized, the egg will be discharged during the menstrual flow.
The fallopian tube receives the egg from the ovary.
Every month, the Ovaries release a egg which waits to be fertilized by sperm in the oviduct-known as the fallopian tubes. A unfertilized egg just leaves the ovary, out through the Oviduct descending into the Uterus and out through the vagina.

egg cell
The egg cells travel down from the ovary to the fallopian tubes. If the egg is fertilised it then travels to the uterus where it implants and may developinto a baby. If the egg isn't fertilised then it is reabsorbed into the body in the fallopian tubes.
It's called a fallopian tube. It attached from the ovary to the uterus, it's where the eggs travel through.
