I'm not a medical doctor just a wife and Mom. My husband and 9 year old son are both adhd but only my husband has both adhd and enuresis. Our nephew (husbands side) is 13 is adhd and also has enuresis. So I do believe that there is a link. don't forget not alot of people will discuss enuresis with you.. so there may be more..
I have one daughter with ADHD and one with ADD both have enuresis. Many parents I have spoken with have the same issue.
Yes. And a link between encopresis (pooping in the pants) and AD/HD.
The same brain areas which deal with behavioral monitoring, control and inhibition/disinhibition are also responsible for the problems with these functions. People with impulsive-type AD/HD have the most problems.
No-one could teach my son to use the tiolet appropriately until he was 6. The symptoms abated markedly once we started him on methylphenidate. Prior to this we had no end of problems with school teachers and incompetent paediatricians who diagnosed it as "poor parenting".
OTOH, I have ADD, and had no problems of this nature as a child other than severe constipation. I suppose I coudn't focus enough to produce, while my son couldn't focus enough to prevent. Same underlying mechanism, different ways of showing it.
Many experts in the research field have discovered that limiting sugar and caffiene in the diet of children with ADHD can help curb symptoms. However, there is no scientific link between diet and ADHD as of yet.
There have been some links between ADHD and nutrition. Some studies have indicated that a poor diet can worsen ADHD symptoms and a good diet can improve them.
carefully controlled follow-up studies have uncovered no link between food allergies and ADHD
Research suggests there may be a link between ADHD and night terrors, as both can involve disruptions in sleep patterns. Children with ADHD are more likely to experience sleep disturbances, which can contribute to night terrors. Additionally, the heightened emotional and behavioral challenges associated with ADHD may exacerbate sleep issues. However, more studies are needed to fully understand the relationship between the two conditions.
If your son has ADHD that only thing that could really be adding to his hyper activity is sugar and caffeine. It is recommended to remove these from a child's diet who has ADHD.
Research on the impact of fluoride exposure on ADHD in children is limited and inconclusive. Some studies suggest a possible link, while others do not find a significant association. More research is needed to determine the potential effects of fluoride on ADHD development or symptoms in children.
There is no proven evidence of a link between the food you eat and ADHD, but there are some health professionals which believe that a low carb, high protein diet can help curb ADHD symptoms.
According to the Mayo Clinic, "food additives include artificial colors, artificial sweeteners and preservatives. There's no solid evidence that food additives cause attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD)."

The attached link has a complete list for you. Most drugs used on ADHD children are also used on adults but with different dosages and sometimes different formulas. See link below. If you or someone you know needs to be treated for ADHD there should be an added benefit to treatment of personal help for organization and behavior modification by a counselor or social worker. Ask the doctor for this type of help too.
