Unfortunently there isn't yet a cure for Hutchinson-Gilford Progeria Syndrome But hopefully someday Scientists will find a cure. God bless all who have the disease.
Progeria.
Progeria (also known as "Hutchinson-Gilford Progeria Syndrome.
There is no treatment for progeria. That is genetic aberration and not a disease.

While there are different forms of Progeria*, the classic type is Hutchinson-Gilford Progeria Syndrome, which was named after the doctors who first described it in England: in 1886 by Dr. Jonathan Hutchinson, and in 1897 by Dr. Hastings Gilford.
Anageria is the medical term for Progeria. There is a thread in the sci.med group discussing this way back in '95, but the poster never published a follow-up, I think.
Progeria, specifically Hutchinson-Gilford Progeria Syndrome (HGPS), affects both males and females equally, with no significant difference in prevalence between the two genders. The condition is caused by a mutation in the LMNA gene, which occurs randomly and is not linked to sex. Therefore, both male and female infants are at the same risk of developing progeria.
Progeria is a genetic condition in which rapid signs of aging begin at a very young age. People with progeria usually do not live past 13 years of age.
