If your marijuana is prescribed, please redirect your inquiry to your doctor, who will evaluate your circumstances and make a professional recommendation.
It would be to your advantage to not smoke pot at all for AT LEAST 48 hours following a tooth extraction. The longer you can go without smoking (pot or cigarettes), the better. Smoking can interfere with the healing process after an extraction and cause a very VERY painful condition called "dry socket", which, trust me, you DO NOT want.
If you do wind up smoking, try to keep it to a minimum, and inhale (hit) as lightly as possible. The suction caused by inhaling smoke from a joint or cigarette can dislodge the blood clot that forms where a tooth has been pulled leading to the aforementioned dreadful dry socket. The chemicals produced by smoke can also interfere with, or slow down, the healing process. I'd also avoid smoking out of a bong, since I read somewhere that water-pipe smokers are more likely to develop dry-socket. This is only a guess, but I'd say you're best bet would be to receive a (very forceful) shotgun from a friend, and inhale with your throat, rather than your mouth. That would at least avoid the "suction" issue.
Good luck, and be careful.
i got my wisdom teeth out at 9 am on Friday and i used a straw to smoke pot at 3 am Saturday morning (18 hours later) and i did not get dry socket. take a straw and cut off the bending part (don't want any smoke to escape) and then cut a small slit in one end of the straw no more then a centimetre. roll a joint or blunt and put it into the end of the straw with the slit, put the straw to the very back of your mouth and exhale from your nose, i did this and did not get dry socket, but i did get stoned
Absolutely.
yes
I don't know if it's OK. I have braces myself and my wisdom teeth are coming in right now. Unfortunatly, I have to get them pulled, if anything that's what would happen. You should wait until the wisdom teeth come in, and then get them pulled, because the metal bands may not fit around the wisdom teeth, and most people have more comfort when their wisdom teeth are pulled. I have braces and my wisdom teeth came through and my otho hasn't done anything to them.
5 - 10 days after being taken out.
An adult that had they're wisdom teeth pulled or not come through then you have 32 teeth. But if you still have your wisdom teeth you have 36.
u got your wisdom teeth pulled out dummy
Jana and Jill had their wisdom teeth removed.
Why would you ever want to smoke through your mouth much less your nose. Your teeth are already leaving you now do you want your since of smell going too?
Normal
no

I just got my wisdom teeth pulled as well about that long ago and was wondering the same thing, but everywhere I have looked it says a minimum of 48 hours to prevent dry socket. Sounds like 72 hours is best though....... Oh well...
