Once Breast Cancer has spread beyond the breast it is considered Stage 4 and is no longer considered curable.It can definitely be treated and I know women who have Mets who are still alive many years later.They do need treatment but there are many different ways to treat it. I know a woman who was diagnosed with Stage 4 breast cancer 19 years ago and she is still alive and living a good life.
