OK "good for" is an inappropriate question

Yam is high In carbohydrate (Sugar measurement for Diabetics) and will not be very filling in comparison to Carbohydrate intake.

It has many minerals and vitamins important to healthy living but lower Carbohydrate sources are easily available.

So does the person eating them like them enough to give up other things to keep his or her Carbohydrate count down to target values?
