Go to your doctor. I just studied this, and it really depends on how you sprained it. For all we know you could have tore your tendon, or a ligament. That's my advice for you.:)
the ability of your ankcle to never sparin is gone because i know this once i sparined my ankle(the right one) when i was eight i only sprain that ankle and very raely do i sparain the other ankle(the left one)
If it is a sprain, it will probably heal on its own, and exercise will help it heal faster. By taking part in sports it is not surprising that you get hurt every once in a while.
Who knows? I doubt it, considering there were weird gods in it. There are many myths about it and here is how the main one goes: A goddess once had a son. Poesideon, the water god offered him invincibility. All the mom had to do was throw her baby into the waters and he would. She doubted though, and dipped him in by his ankle(achillies tendon). Thus, it was impossible for him to be wounded in any way except for his ankle. One day is war he was shot there and died. That is supposedly why our achillies tendon is called that. Hope that helped!
I'm not very sure on that. However, Michael did sprain his ankle once during 1993. He explained that when he was dancing, he went into a spin and twisted his ankle. Therefore he had to perform 'Remember the Time' live while sitting in a chair the entire time.
The corresponding muscle will shrink due to the decreased activity tendon. This is because when the tendon is torn the area around the tendon will not be in very much use until the tendon is repaired which can take a good while unless professionally handled. The muscle will go back to its original size once the tendon heals and the muscle is used more.
Yes. In the first 12- 48 hours after injury. So that movement is minimized to allow healing. Once swelling is down, start placing tolerable weight on the foot as well as range of motion exercises to keep healed ligaments from stiffening up.
Once the ankle has healed. If the injury is not crippling and the doctor passes it, there would not be a problem. You wouldn't be able to go to boot camp with a broken ankle.
Well, you could do lots to hurt an ankle but,it really hurts. When you hurt your ankle you either, break the bone, sprain it, or just twist it. To heal it, you should put an ice pack on it and keep it still. If it starts to get worse talk to your parents or doctor.
The ankle is a multifaceted combined that is accomplished of an extensive range of interest group: flexion, additional room, inversion and dislike as well as a amalgamation of other movements. A sprained ankle enlarges up speedily, and starts to impair just as swiftly. To straight away extravagance tenderness and swelling you can mitigate your foot by following the R.I.C.E. handling plan: rest, ice, compression and elevation. This means mendacious down, keeping your foot promoted, cooling the ankle and wrapping it in an expandable dressing to put gentle strain on it.
I had a sprained ankle once and it didnt get better for 4 weeks and then i had to get an MRI and i have to get syrgery cuz i hava fibrosous in my joints
i can get them shiny but once i get them shiny, when I polish them they get scratched and become less shiny.
Once an athlete starts to walk around it starts loosening up. Even though they loosen up they still provide support to the ankle.
