She tripped and hurt her knee coming down the stairs
I've been in a walking boot on and off for my whole life so I've gotten used to tackling stairs. I recommend taking it easy and ensuring that you hold onto safety rails while you go up and down stairs with the boot - if you don't feel like it's something you can comfortably do - don't do it. I wish you a speedy recovery!
kitty pushes her down the stairs
I've just been taking it and my knees hurt but not sure if it's related, I can walk okay but they feel weak, a little swollen and I can't kneel down, feels like my quad where my thigh connects to my knee has shrunk.
The damage done to the person might be affected by the fact that they might be falling backwards or forwards. If the person falls backwards they might hurt their spinal cord or their butt but if a person falls forwards then they might hurt their face or chest or any other vital organs in their body. Also they might not suffer high pains if they fell down 2 or 3 stairs but if they fall down half a flight of the whole flight of stairs then they might be hurt pretty bad.
Please state why your knees hurt? Is it an injury? Is it arthritis? It makes a huge difference, so please rephrase your question.
As long as you keep their head above your knees, it won't hurt them.
You can trip and that can really hurt you in many ways you can even break a bone. Trust me i know because i triped down the stairs a week ago and i got a big bruise a sore wrist and one ankle hurt and the other got sprained.
I am not sure why your knees would hurt while walking. If it does not go away I would call a doctor.
Using a recumbent bike may hurt your knees if the seat and pedals are not properly adjusted to fit your body, causing strain on your knees. It is important to ensure that the bike is set up correctly to prevent knee pain.
