Lupus is a genetic autoimmune disorder. You are born with it, and it can be treated successfully, however there is no cure.

Oh, dude, no way! Acacia savanna is just a type of ecosystem, not a magical cure for lupus. I mean, if hanging out in a savanna could cure diseases, we'd all be booking safaris instead of going to the doctor, right? Lupus is a serious medical condition that requires proper treatment from healthcare professionals, not a stroll through the grasslands.
I have discoid lupus and it has scared my scalp vey bad leaving me bald in those area's will the hair grow back and is there a cure for this
There is no cure for lupus, childhood or otherwise. Lupus is not something you outgrow. Neonatal lupus, a condition seen in newborns of some mothers with lupus, usually subsides on its own in about six months.
unfortunately the answer is quite simple. The cause of lupus still isn't know, so a cure cannot be found. Medication for lupus sufferers is to manage the symptoms and to hopefully prevent further damaged caused by inflammation for example. remain hopeful that there will be, if not a cure, more accessible and faster acting alleviating medications :)
Lupus is an autoimmune disease. The patient's immune system cannot differentiate between pathogens and healthy parts of the self. There are four types of lupus: discoid or cutaneous, systemic lupus erythematosus, neonatal lupus, and drug induced lupus. The cause of lupus is not fully understood. There is no cure. Lupus affects 5 million people worldwide.
Although there is no current cure for Lupus - the symptoms can be managed with medication. Sufferers can live a perfectly normal life. I personally know a lady with the condition - who is in her sixties.
well first of all you can not make lupus it is a disease that starts to slowly eat away your intestines and you lose feeling in your fingers and toes. there is medication you can take to slow it down but there is no known cure
Yes it is an autoimmune disease that currently has no cure. There are treatments available to manage the symptoms caused by the disease but no cure for the overall disease. With lupus, the antibodies that usually fight germs and disease in ones body instead attack all of the organs in the body. Due to lack of funding and general public unawareness of what exactly is lupus, there has been no progress for many years in finding a medicine that is more effective in slowing down the attack of all the organs. Currently the most widely used medicine is Plaquenil, which was developed 70 years ago for the purpose of treating malaria. This drug has many bad side effects in many patients and again, can only slow down the progression of lupus attacking and destroying all major organs, it does not cure lupus.
