In health care 120/80 is ideal. I would be concerned about the 157. See your doctor. He may want you to monitor your blood pressure at home. I thought mine was okay until I felt like I was going to pass out one day. Turns out I did have high blood pressure and I now take high blood pressure medication. Best wishes!
If you mean blood pressure: 120/80 is normal. Older people can have a BP of 140 and it can be considered normal.
Hypertension, you should have your blood pressure monitored over various situations i.e. at rest, with exercise, when standing, and over a period of time. This is considered a high blood pressure.
Normal blood pressure is 120 over 80. If the 147 is the top number(systolic) it seems a little high for a 25 year old. If it is the bottom number(diastolic) then it seems very high. However one reading does not mean much. Take several readings and see if that is just a fluke. Most drug stores have free blood pressure machines you can use. There will be information on the machine that can help you interpret your readings.
