My daughter just had head lice and used the treatment nitenz the headlice is all gone but all its left is the nasty smell of the treatment and large flakes of dandruff?
I had the same problem with my son, I just had to keep washing his hair until I got most of the smell away then I put some Tea Tree oil on his hair and it smelt okay then. Make sure she goes to bed with her hair tied up as the chemicals they put in the lotion aren't that good for their lungs

You might have something other than dandruff as there are fungal infections of the scalp that can cause similar symptoms, or it could be a more severe form of dandruff or psoriasis that requires a prescription strength shampoo/treatment.
