more info,

my area of interest is drug discovery and biological chemistry, I am done my undergrad next year in a top-ranked school and have already started doing some research with a government scientist. I love the subject and I believe I bring a unique skill set to what I do.

But

I have been a life long lover of military history and politics and some part of me wanted to study history. I believed uniformed service is a test of a person's character and an invaluable experience.

I'd like feedback from both sides
