Illegal use of all types of drugs and illegal substances (like glues, etc) should not be legalized because people are prone to not only harm their bodies and others bodies and many times cause death. The general population fails to fully understand pharmaceutical medications, illegally manufactured chemicals, and non-drug substances when they use them to get high, make them feel less pain or to drug others for various reasons. All drugs, medications and botanical substances should be regulated and information should be provided with all of them to educated the person using them.
Providing drugs to addicts needs to be done in a controlled environment by a physician such as is done in the methadone program and programs to help addicts of all types in recovery centers.
Even alcohol should be regulated and servers should discontinue serving to customers who have had enough. It is too bad there is no way to control those who chose to drink on their own. They will have to learn the hard way and hopefully never kill someone while inebriated.
The people who most often pay the price for illegal and even legal use of drugs, ethanol or sniffing what ever are children and fetal babies. If they don't suffer from neglect, exposure or the use of drugs then they suffer because their parents used while they were inside their mothers.
Drugs should be decriminalized because it can lead to reduced incarceration rates, allow for more effective addiction treatment, and shift focus towards addressing the root causes of drug abuse.
Countries like Uruguay, Canada, and some states in the United States have legalized the recreational use of marijuana. Portugal has decriminalized the possession of all drugs for personal use. It's important to note that drug laws vary widely around the world.
Classifying cannabis as a class A or B drug is a controversial topic. Supporters argue that it can pose health risks, especially for young people, due to potential cognitive impairment and addiction. Opponents argue that it has medicinal benefits and should be decriminalized or legalized for adult use.
yes they should to prevent future drug use
No,but I think they should!
Parts of California, New Hampshire and its decriminalized in Colorado.
I believe Marijuana should be decrimnalized, that way it is still Illegal to Harvest. The advantages to "Pot" being decriminalized are you will no longer be able to be charged for possesion of Cannabis and/or Paraphernalia. The concept of Smoking Weed however would sill be frowned upon in a just Society.
The cast of Decriminalized - 2013 includes: Alex Kotsyk Emilio Viera
Dr. Weed~ no it hasn't been decriminalized, and it is not legalized so don't get caught!! Smoke on dude!!
Studies have repeatedly shown that the most effective method to decrease drug use is decriminalization and rehabilitation. More than a decade ago, Portugal, when faced with skyrocketing rates of addiction and incarceration, decriminalized the use of all drugs and put forth a strong public rehabilitation program, seeking to get the addicted the help they need to become productive members of society again. Now the country has seen addiction rates drop to lower than 50% of what they were before decriminalization. Education and medical assistance can help drug addicts and can ultimately lower drug use, while incarceration can only increase the number of criminals as well as increase drug use inside the prison system.
It shouldn't be outlawed ,it not even a drug
There is no way to tell someone to stop something they are choosing to do. It would be suggested that you should explain your reason why you do not want them to use the drug. Also tell them you will not support their drug use, and you will not be with them if they keep using the drug.
