The best way to lose weight is watch the amount of calories you eat, especially at night when you can't burn them off as easily. Some people eat a big meal before bedtime and it just goes right to their weight problem. If you are a snacker, the same is true. Walk as much as you can during the day. I walk about five miles a day or more in the kind of work I do besides everything else. I don't drive so I walk to anything within a mile or so. You can also get a bike and this will help for longer distances. Dieting probably won't help you in the long run because as soon as you get off the regimen of the diet, you will gain the weight back. Make healthy choices in the foods you eat, well balanced. Remember that all the carbs you eat all turn to sugar in your body. What is not used by your body turns to fat. It all boils down to how much you want to lose weight. You have to have discipline to say no to the wrong foods and excesses.
