A septated thyroid cyst is a fluid-filled sac within the thyroid gland that contains internal divisions or septa, which are thin walls separating different compartments of the cyst. These cysts can vary in size and may be benign or, less commonly, indicative of more serious conditions. They are typically discovered during imaging studies, such as ultrasound, and may require monitoring or further evaluation depending on their characteristics. Treatment may involve aspiration or surgery if there are concerns about malignancy or significant symptoms.

No.
From what I know, nothing. They are usually benign when biopsied and can be removed if the thyroid colloid cyst grows so large (unusual) that it impairs swallowing or breathing. If you have other nodules that are malignant, they would probably take out the colloid cyst because there is a small change it could be malignant as well. Usually they don't make a big deal of thyroid cysts with colloid cells when I'm at the hospital.
No. It is a sgin of extrene gertilitie!
When there's an overgrowth of normal thyroid tissues, this is commonly referred to as a thyroid adenoma. The Mayo Clinic says it's not clear why a thyroid adenoma occurs but it is a type of growth that isn't cancerous. Thyroid adenomas sometimes form as a result of degenerated cysts, or fluid-filled cavities, in the thyroid.
I was diagnosed with Sarcoidosis in August 2009. I have numerous ovarian cyst and a complex nabothian cyst. I asked the Sarcoid specialist if there was a connection between the two and he clearly told me No. The doctors in my opinion do not know enough about Sarcoid to give a definitive answer of No...... I also have numerous cyst on my thyroid gland
WHAT IS Complex right upper pole 3.6 cm cyst with solid nodules?
A thyroid gland that is larger on one side may indicate the presence of a thyroid nodule, which can be benign or, less commonly, cancerous. It could also be a result of inflammation, such as in Hashimoto's thyroiditis or a thyroid cyst. An asymmetrical thyroid may not always signal a serious issue, but it's important to consult a healthcare professional for proper evaluation and diagnosis.
A 3mm anechoic cyst of the thyroid is a small fluid-filled sac within the thyroid gland that appears dark or "anechoic" on ultrasound imaging due to the absence of internal echoes. These cysts are typically benign and often do not require treatment unless they cause symptoms or show signs of growth. The size of 3mm indicates that it is relatively small, and most anechoic cysts of this size are considered clinically insignificant. Regular monitoring may be recommended to ensure no changes occur over time.
Bartlett's cyst, also known as a parathyroid cyst, is a fluid-filled sac that can develop in the parathyroid glands, which are located near the thyroid gland in the neck. These cysts are often asymptomatic and may be discovered incidentally during imaging studies for other conditions. In some cases, they can lead to elevated calcium levels in the blood if they secrete parathyroid hormone. Treatment is typically only necessary if symptoms arise or if the cyst is large.
A facetal cyst is a type of cyst that exists in the lumbar spine. This type of cyst is also referred to as a synovial cyst.
