Cervical spinal stenosis is a narrowing of the spinal canal in the neck region, which can put pressure on the spinal cord and nerves. This can lead to symptoms such as neck pain, weakness, numbness, or tingling in the arms or hands. Severe cases may require surgical intervention to relieve pressure on the spinal cord.

Organs in the vertebral cavity include the spinal cord, which runs through the vertebral canal of the spine, along with nerve roots and blood vessels. This cavity is also home to the spinal meninges, which protect and support the spinal cord.

As I understand it Congenital Spinal Stenosis is a form of Spinal Stenosis that one is born with rather than an age induced degenerative condition. Spinal Stenosis refers to the constriction of the canal and other structures of the spine that our nervous system runs thru. If the condition is severe it could put pressure on the neural structures of the spine causing pain. Please understand I am not in the medical field but have been researching this and other spinal conditions as my husband has reciently been diagnosed with a number of spinal issues that we wish to understand.
