High blood pressure can be caused by liqourice, salty and heavy food. High blood pressure increases the risk of heart attack.

High cholesterol is caused by foods with a lot of fat. Fried foods are the worst.

High cholesterol clogs the arteries slowly, and also increases the risk of heart attack.

Diabetes is caused by eating a lot of food containing sugar. Especially other sugars than fructose which is found in fruits. Diabetes increases, you guessed it, the risk of heart attack. Also it's linked to the body weight, being a factor in obesity.

Also by eating unhealthily you are at risk of becoming over-weight, especially if you don't excersize.

Of course food with low nourishment, can cause different kinds of deficiencies, so a persons diet needs to have variation. That's why fruits and vegetables also are important.

One more thing, sugary food and drinks with carbon acid, like all kinds of sodas, will erode your teeth, so you get holes. Coffee and smoking also colour your teeth.
