Schizophrenia is a psychotic disorder that can manifest itself through hallucination, delusions and paranoia. Said symptoms lead to behavioural disturbances (social withdraw, fear of others, odd mannerisms), disordered speech and thought patterns, and unexpected displays of random or inappropriate emotions. A schizophrenic person might also display some symptoms more often associated with depression (self neglect, lack of motivation).
