One-day surgery, also known as outpatient surgery, involves a surgical procedure that allows the patient to go home on the same day as the operation. These surgeries are typically less complex and have lower risk factors, allowing for a quicker recovery time compared to inpatient procedures. Some minor procedures can be performed in a clinic. The more involved ones would require a hospital stay.
