because some people are not capable of having it
they have notch teeth.
For a person with the Huntingtons gene the first symptoms usually strike in late middle age at around 50-55. There are people however with the gene who have had first symptoms in their late 80s and some in their early 20s. You have to have the gene to get the disease.
Im not sure about cured but we know the genes that cause some genetic diseases such as huntingtons
No, there is currently no cure for Huntingtons, but a neurologist is able to prescribe medication to patients with Huntingtons to help the suppress the symptoms. Researchers are currently looking into stem cell research for a cure.
A very, VERY personal decision. A person that has a parent that has Huntingtons, and is now an adult, might decide to be tested for HD prior to having children, or to help plan what they want to do in life. At present, there is no cure and limited treatment for Huntingtons. Some people may not WANT to know that they have a disease that is ultimately fatal, and has no cure. My wife has HD, and we have 4 adult children. Three of them decided to be tested- one decided not to.
Animals can become extinct for a wide variety of reasons. The most common reasons are the following:DiseaseOver-HuntedGenetic Similarity (causing sterility and disease)
First, since this is a genetic disease, that is transmitted only by inheritance, a determination of family history of HD is usually made. There are also characteristic symptoms that become noticeable in later life, most commonly chorea- or uncontrolled movements of the body. In recent years, a genetic test has been developed that permits screening the the chromosome that causes HD- if you do not have that chromosome, you do not have, and will not develop HD. If you DO have that chromosome, at some point the symptoms of HD will develop. The exact age varies from one person to another. There is additional information at the website of the Huntington's Disease Society of America.
i got this book and it has pretty much everything you need to know about the disease. its called CROHN'S DISEASE & ULCERATIVE COLITIS EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW by FRED SAIBIL, MD
No wings. Too heavy.
For research purposes, since it's always possible the virus has not actually been eliminated. It may turn out that the virus is still extant somewhere, or that there is a reservoir in a species of animal we didn't know the virus could live in.
i dont know
Depends which parts of Africa. In some parts, the deadliest disease is Malaria. In other parts, the deadliest disease is AIDs/HIV.
