Sophie: Partly it would depend on whether you had peritonitis or not (infection of peritoneal wall). If your appendix was caught before any further complications it might not be too bad but I dont know the effect on the fetus. It is now mid-January and how are you feeling. I had appendicitis that went undiagnosed at 8 1/2 months and was not found out until I had a c-section so I had a very difficult recovery, physically and emotionally. I felt that my birth experience was traumatic because of the undiagnosed appendicitis. You will probably do much better. Please let us know. Elaine in B.C.
Some attacks of appendicitis are mild and transient.

No it is not normal to have your period while pregnant. I have heard of some small spotting while pregnant but if you have your full period while you think you are pregnant, you thought wrong. You would not be pregnant.
Some women have bleeding while pregnant that they think is their period, but bleeding while pregnant is NOT normal and should be evaluated by an OBYN!
No, white blood cell (WBC) counts are not always elevated in appendicitis. While leukocytosis (an increase in WBC count) is commonly associated with appendicitis due to infection and inflammation, some patients may present with normal WBC counts, particularly in early or mild cases. Additionally, individual variations and other factors can influence WBC levels. Therefore, a normal WBC count does not rule out appendicitis.
Some cases have shown that some women have had period like symptoms while pregnant
Being underage, being pregnant or trying to become pregnant, either preparing for or recovering from surgery, being an alcoholic who wants to quit, driving a vehicle or operating equipment, preparing to appear in court, etc.
There is no evidence to say that eating seedy fruits gives you appendicitis. Some times you get appendicitis after the seed gets lodged in the lumen of appendix.
No. It will not bring you appendicitis. Some times a small seed is found lodged in the lumen of appendix and cause appendicitis.

While the recovering alcoholic struggled with his addiction, some woman played the temptress and placed a drink right in front of him.
Unfortunately There is no known way of avoiding or preventing appendicitis. Despite this, there are some symptoms to look out for. Symptoms include: -pain in the abdomen, first around the belly button, then moving to the lower right area -loss of appetite -nausea -vomiting -constipation or diarrhoea -inability to pass gas Low fever that begins after other symptoms -abdominal swelling Not everyone with appendicitis will have all of these symptoms, especially in children, pregnant women, or the elderly. Hope this helped:)
