Though it is not the worst disease it is definitely annoying. I can honestly tell you right now that, if I were you, I wouldn't want Diabetes. Diabetes is a high maintenance disease. It takes a lot out of you. Your good day can turn into a disaster in a matter of minutes. It is not something to mess around with. It takes a good deal of responsibility to take care of and manage. Some days are better than others. Everyone has a different outlook on the disease but in my point of view, it is annoying. Hope I helped (:

The first and foremost step in dealing with this condition is to accept that you have diabetes. Most newly diagnosed diabetics feel embarrassed to tell their family or friends about it. They also start avoiding social gatherings and this gives a chance for depression to step in.Get over the embarrassment and think of the best way to deal with diabetes. All the medications wouldn't be of much help if you are not positive about the treatment. You have identified the problem and there's no way that diabetes would just disappear. Talk to your doctor and get a treatment plan.Change your lifestyle and diet too. Talk to a dietitian and make a list of safe and healthy foods.Get some exercise and knock those excess pounds away.Get back to doing things that you love.Bottom-line - Don't let diabetes take control of your life. By following a right approach, you can take control of diabetes and lead a normal & healthy life.
