I had the pneumonia shot and a tetnus booster at the same time. That night I had substantial pain in my shoulder and in the left side of my jaw. It then moved into different joints and had pain and swelling in my extremities, wrists, hips, hands and ankles. I had a Anaphylactic reaction. If you are having any reaction, unusual pain or fever, CALL THE DOCTOR or GO TO IMMEDIATE CARE immediately; even if what you are experiencing isn't mentioned on the information sheet the doctor gave you.

There's really no such thing as a pneumonia shot. Flu shot - maybe? Any type of vaccine or medicine could have side effects so it's worth mentioning to your health care provider if they persist.
After receiving the pneumonia shot, some individuals may experience mild side effects such as soreness at the injection site, fatigue, or low-grade fever, which typically last for a few days. Most people feel back to normal within 1 to 3 days. Serious side effects are rare, and the vaccine's protection can last for up to 10 years. If symptoms persist or worsen, it's advisable to consult a healthcare professional.
The duration of flu shot side effects varies from person to another.
