The palpation method of measuring heart rate involves placing the tips of your fingers (not the thumb) on the artery at the wrist or neck and counting the number of palpitations (beats), for one minute.
In this study, the measuring of the heart rate is an operational definition of anxiety.
Apical pulse is typically measured by using auscultation, which involves listening to the heartbeat with a stethoscope placed over the apex of the heart. This method allows healthcare providers to accurately assess the heart rate and rhythm. Palpation can also be used to locate the apical pulse, but auscultation is more precise for determining the actual heartbeat.

heart :)
by palpation of the abdomen. Usually, the twin pregnancy has 4 poles or more. And 2 fetal heart sound heard by using pinard
The thumb should not be used for measuring another person's heart rate, as its strong pulse may interfere with discriminating the site of pulsation
Time is the independent variable.
Heart rate monitor is personal monitoring device that measure the heart rate in real time (measuring the number of your heart's beat per minute).
If it is below your heart then the reading could be falsely high; if it is too high, falsely low. This is due to the hydrostatic component of the blood pressure, which is due to gravity and varies only with the height of the point being measured (in a standing position lowest at the head, highest at the feet). When measuring blood pressure it is desirable to have the same hydrostatic component as at the heart. Therefore, by convention, the "right" blood pressure is the one taken at the heart level. Please note that a 10 cm difference in level between the point of measure and the heart would introduce an error of 7.6 mmHg.
Auscultated (listening) bp is done using a stethoscope to listen for a return of pulse, usually in the brachial artery, as pressure is released from a bp cuff. Palpated (touched/felt) bp is done by feeling for a return of pulse, usually in the radial or brachial arteries, as pressure is released from a bp cuff.
Lots of times......Human Error!
