The sedentary lifestyle, the unhealthy diet and the increasing obesity trends are all leading to diabetes, affecting young and old. The worst affected regions in the world are the Middle East, South and South East Asia and parts of Northern Africa, and India and China are the countries with the largest number of diabetics.
