Well, I have had an experience of damaging my hair so, I will tell you what caused it and some other problems people have experienced. Okay, what happened to my hair was... I was on a cruise and I swam a lot in the chlorinated water. I did wash my hair later in the days, but after I got out of the pool and dried my hair, it turned BRITTLE!! The chlorine smell stayed in for WEEKS AND WEEKS after wards. And my hair stayed a little brittle. It was really damaging to my hair and I had to cut it because the ends were very damaged. So, chlorine is one thing that can damage your hair. Also, if you blow-dry your hair too often, it can burn your hair and damage it. Also, the same with curling and straitening irons.
Thanks for reading this answer. Please acknowledge that I have put some effort into it.
