You must have a constantly changing weight program in order to become extremely strong. Lots of sleep and very good nutrition is very important too. Running, skipping, cycling, kick boxing, rowing etc are also very good cardio/warm up/warm down exercises and should all be incorporated into your extreme strength program.

Lift weights daily, but do not focus on the same muscle groups on consecutive days. You must have rest in order to grow muscle. Drink lots of water, and aim to never miss a workout. Eat lots of protein and make sure you have good breakfasts. Stretch your body throughly every day, not only because it removes lactic acid, but also because it gives you tendon strength and increases your pain threshold.

Set lots of small goals instead of a few big long term ones. You can have long term goals, just make sure you balance them out with lots of small short term ones too.
