I would recommend that you try and find the cause of the eczema. Many doctors will tell you there isn't a cause, that is what they told us. However, we did not believe that to be true.
After trying different things, we finally had a food allergy test done. Our son was allergic to dairy, soy, and several other things. Once my wife cut these foods out of her diet and his (breast feeding), his eczema cleared up about 90%.
Then we found some natural remedies that helped with the other 10%.
Good luck.
No, a baby with eczema will not die. Eczema is not a life threatening disease, it only causes dry and itchy patches of skin.
Unless it's from a hereditary illness the baby can not get it.
Eczema is not directly inherited, but a pregnant woman with eczema may have a higher likelihood of having a child who also develops eczema or other atopic conditions, due to genetic factors. The exact mechanism is complex and involves both genetic predisposition and environmental influences. While the baby may not inherit eczema itself, they may be more susceptible to developing it later in life if there is a family history. It's important for pregnant women with eczema to manage their condition with the guidance of a healthcare professional.
Johnson's Baby Lotion with aloe vera can provide some moisture and soothing properties, which may help alleviate mild symptoms of eczema. However, it's important to note that individual reactions can vary, and some people with eczema may be sensitive to certain ingredients in commercial products. It's advisable to consult a healthcare professional for personalized recommendations and to consider using products specifically formulated for eczema.
I'm honestly not 100% sure, but from personal experience I think you can. I had it extremly bad as a child in all my joints. Now that I'm older I barely have any eczema anywhere!
