What can you do to heal your cold sore faster?

First a few things you don't want to do.

Don't cover it with make up.

Don't touch / pick at the sore a lot with your fingers.

Try not to lick the sore.

Try to stay out of direct sunlight (or wear a hat) when you have a cold sore.

Those things above can aggravate a cold sore.

The best thing to help heal a cold sore is medicated cream like Abreva, you can also try creams that have lysine in them too. For the ones in your inner lip but still on your lip put carmax but don't pop it or touch it play with it with your toung because it will get bigger an irrated and spread abreva is also really good it takes a longer time to get rid of and is kind of expensive also if its the ones that are inside of your mouth like on your gums mix around warm water and salt and it will really help thoses ones are very annoying. avoid sharing drinks with anyone when you have a coldsore because they are very contagious.

Medication is a good option like taking Lysine pills but most people prefer natural remedies because they are more effective, safer and less expensive than any cream you can buy. Here are some:

- Rubbing in tea tree oil or dabbing toothpaste on them overnight

- Applying aloe vera (gel or fresh) a couple times a day

- Putting ice or tea bags on them for 3-8 mins every hour to keep the virus from spreading

- Honey 4 times a day will sooth any irritation and stalls growth (better than any cream!)

- Dab apple cider vinegar to dry it up quicker

- Putting on cocoa butter during the day or at night helps close the skin

- Soaking cotton buds in milk and leaving it on the sores for 10 mins will make them heal faster

- Have a lot of vitamin C and E (you can put the witamin E directly on it if you wish)
