What can you do to treat swollen hot red and possibly infected ear lobes?

Ice takes the swelling away and helps to stop the bleeding. Also putting a tissue or something of the sort and holding it on the piercings can also help stop bleeding. Tylenol may help with swelling and pain.

If you got this infection from having eariings that harm your ears, make sure you get rid of those earings! Also, put in good earrings with support. Clean your ear at least three times a day with rubbing alcohol. If it is really hurting, and you are somewhere that there is no rubbing alcohol, take out your earrings and put cold water on your ears. Excuse your self to a restroom and take a paper towel and wet it with COLD water and gently place it on the earlobe. If the ear is bleeding, bandaids are BAD! bandaids/ bandages will close the earing hole and crush part of your ear! NEVER EVER put a bandage on your ear unless it is an emergency! If the ear is bledding, hold a cold, damp paper towel to the earlobe and dab the ear until the ear stops throbbing and refrians from bleeding. Your doctor will give you antibiotics to treat the infected stitches of earlobes. If this does not work, he will give you stitches again after the infection is treated.
