Although humans are described as bilaterally symmetrical animals, in truth no higher animals are truly, perfectly symmetrical.

You can illustrate this by taking frontal pictures of all your friends, or celebrities from magazines, cutting them in half, and mirroring the image either with a mirror or with software, to form two pictures; one all-left and the other all-right, so to speak. You'll find that the left side of everyone's face is remarkably different from the right side.

The same is true of our whole bodies... A little difference between the left side and the right side is perfectly normal and nothing to worry about.
