Obstruction can occur due to recent surgery that involves the intestines. Due to the proximity of the uterus, tubes and ovaries to the intestines, it is most likely that they were a factor. Intestines don't like being touched, period. They go into a period of paralysis called ileus post op. Another cause could be adhesions forming between the intestines and the abdominal wall.
Both are risks of surgery and you will have consented to them on the preoperative consent form.
The first and pretty much only requirement for a hysterectomy is having a uterus. Having said that most doctors will not perform a hysterectomy without a medical reason (although if you have the time and money anything is possible).
I am having a abdominal hysterectomy on the 22 August and am due to fly on the 7 September, will I be okay to fly if I take all the necessary precautions? This will depend on type of hysterectomy you are having. Laproscopic recovery times are much quicker than abdominal BUT you should ask your surgeon and doctor as you may need a certificate of fitness to travel for the airline. GOOD LUCK
Yes, it is dangerous
If you had an abdominal then you should wait until your wounds including internal stitches have completely healed as you don't want to pulling them apart. Start gradually as six weeks is the MINIMUM recommended time before lifting anything heavy. If in doubt ask your doctor/surgeon.
The definition of obstruction of legal process is anything that hinders or prevents the execution of a process outlined by law. This is considered to be a serious crime in most states.
the dude who don't knows anything about mechanical engineering but .....?
This depends on how quickly you heal and this depends on the type of hysterectomy you have had. Abdominal tends to take longer to heal than laproscopic. This is a major operation and you should not take any risks until you are fully healed. For the first two weeks you won't feel like doing anything and it will be about six weeks but get the all clear from your doctor
The proper technique for an abdominal crunch is to make sure that you isolate your abdominal area so that you do not use anything else such as your neck muscles, make sure that you only use the desired area which in this case is the abdominal area
If you have unexplained pain on your left side it could be from anything, not necessarily the ovaries. It is best to get it checked out by a physician. It could be an appendix or bowel obstruction. There is no way to diagnose abdominal pain without a physician opinion.
You can request anything you want. Whether or not the doctor will perform one is a different story.
anything that has an arm
An obstruction of the upper airway involves the blockage of the airway in the throat, trachea (airway going to the lungs) or the voice box. Multiple things can cause upper airway obstruction, such as foreign objects (choking), swelling due to allergic reaction and chemical or heat burns which cause blistering/swelling. Most of the time, people would first think of choking as causing an obstruction of the upper airway, even though there are a variety of causes.
