What causes migraines with nose bleeds?

If you suffer with migrain headaches they are known to cause nose bleeds. I have suffered with migrains for 15 years. I have a lot of nosebleeds. The nose bleed can be another symptom of what is causing the headache. For instance in the winter, dry air can cause dehydration, which causes headaches, and the dry air causes the nasal passages to be more susceptable to nose bleeds. High blood pressure can cause both symptoms.

I get nose bleeds with migraines. Not all the time but in some cases. Maybe 1 in 12 migraines i will have a nose bleed. Most of the time its just a trickle but in some cases it just gushes and wont stop. I take Relpax for my migraines but it is not listed as a side effect. I found recently that xanax works with my headaches too. Weird, but I guess some of those migraines are caused by stress and xanax helps with that.

yes it can cause bloody noses, My mom is a nurse and knows much about this, High blood pressure, nervouse, causes bloody noses
