The color that symbolizes survivors, particularly in the context of cancer awareness, is often lavender. Lavender represents hope and support for various types of cancer and is commonly associated with the broader survivor community. In other contexts, colors like pink for breast cancer or teal for ovarian cancer also symbolize specific survivor experiences.
ORANGE
ALL leukemia is Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. ALL is a fast-growing cancer of the white blood cells. This form of cancer is more common in children than adults, although both can have it. As a childhood Leukemia survivor, I have to say that it is more likely to accure in children, and this type of Leukemia has the highest survival rate.
The Purple Heart is presented to those who have been wounded. Survivors of Domestic Violence are invariably wounded, both physically and emotionally. The color represents the courage of the survivor.
