A lump in the upper left stomach near the rib cage could be due to various reasons, such as a lipoma (benign fatty tissue growth), a hernia, an enlarged lymph node, or even an abdominal tumor. It's important to consult a healthcare provider for a proper evaluation and diagnosis to determine the cause of the lump and appropriate treatment.
get it to the vet emmediately! it could be serious! when my hamster had a lump i took it to the vet as soon as i could and they gave him an operation. it saved his life because i got there quick enough. unfortunately it came back a year later but inside him and he had to be put to sleep! it could be pricey but you will be glad you did it so your pet didnt suffer!
Your guinea pig may have swollen toes due to the bottom of the cage, or the bedding. The most common cause is from the bottom of the cage. If you have a wire bottom on your cage, this may cause the inflamation. I suggest finding another cage or providing something solid that your guinea pig may rest its paws on!
You can find a replacement bottom tray for a bird cage at pet stores, online retailers, or directly from the manufacturer of the bird cage.
