Removable bridges or removable partial dentures are appliances made to replace one or more missing teeth in an arch. Removable bridges all use the same type of tooth material but are differentiated by the materials used to hold the teeth to the partial denture and the way the partial denture attaches to the two (or more) teeth left in the arch (upper or lower).
What is the price for partial dentures?
With today's technology, partial dentures can stay secure in your mouth and look natural without implants or messy adhesives, no matter how much or how little jawbone you have. The key is to have they made by a board certified denturist There are two types of partial dentures: removable and fixed. Removable partial dentures consist of a metal framework along the artificial teeth and metal clasps which hold the denture in position. Alternatively, the fixed partial denture, often referred to as a bridge, is cemented in the appropriate position. The bridge is preferred over removal partial dentures because the bridge tends to be more comfortable and better resembles natural teeth. On the flip side, the bridge requires healthy teeth for their support and are more expensive than the removable partial denture. If you are considering such a procedure for yourself, discuss both options with your dentist.

Partial dentures are used for people who do not need the extensive work of full or permanent dentures. Partial dentures act as a way to replace one or two teeth without having to permanently fix it. They act as a sort of retainer that you put in every morning (or whenever you choose to wear them). It is because of the type of materials partial dentures are made out of that allow them to be extremely easy to clean and comfortable to wear.
It depends on your insurance plan and the type of partial dentures you decide to purchase. The cost may range from $500 to $1,000.
