What do I do if i can't wear a tampon and my friend invites me to the waterpark?

If you have your period you can't swim because the pad will absorb the water and not your blood. I know how your feeling. I have my period too and I am going to the amusement park with water rides and Roller Coasters.

I was on a swim team all year and every time I had my period, I just put a panti liner in my bathing suit. This might sound a little weird but technically, the blood stops coming out when you're in the water so don't worry about it too much.

Your period does not stop in the water, that is a myth, there is nothing magical about water that can stop you from bleeding. You cannot use pads or pantiliners in the water, this is just plain common sense: the pads will absorb water so wouldn't be able to absorb blood, but then also blood wouldn't flow down into the pad in water anyway, also disposable pads would come unstuck and fall apart.

If your flow is lighter then what little leaves your body may be diluted by the water so go unnoticed, but heavier flow and uterine lining will show in the water, also flow down your leg as you get out the pool. Menstrual blood isn't dirty, but no one wants to swim through your blood so use appropriate products.

why not use tampons ? if your on your period ,and want to go swimming wear one , I always did and still do . you can't wear pads . so the only other option is not to go.

ask your mom to buy you tampons, walking around in a pad all day is uncomfortable you can't feel a tampon if its in properly, just change it every 8 hours of you could get TSS.
