What do nits look like?

Head Lice eggs look a bit like dandruff or you know when you rub gel in and then a little while later your hair has white small dots. That's what they look like. If you don't want to catch any, don't share things that you put in your hair. Signs of having lice include severe itching around the back of your head and having a lot of dandruff. You may also notice differences in the texture of your hair, like it feels stiffer or somewhat "sticky."

Nits you know are lice and they are light-dark brown small bugs that live in hair. It doesn't matter if your hair is dirty or clean. they prefer clean, straight hair. It is important to check your hair for them. Don't worry if you do there are prescriptions your Doctor can give you. Ask an adult you trust, like your mom or dad or older sister to wash through your hair with it and you will be free of bugs! Nits are lice eggs. They are white or gray and are attached to the hair a few centimetres from the head. They are a lot more visible in darker hair.
