Chiropractic care has been found in double blind research to help migraine headaches. Also read the book The Hormonal Headache. Try avoiding foods like chocolates, fermented foods like beer, blue cheese, white and red wines (test separately, since usually one will trigger headaches but often the other won't), caffeine. Do neck stretching. Meditate. Try chamomile tea, yoga, other stress-reduction methods. Be sure you don't have high blood pressure. If you do, seek medical care. Then, if all else fails, there are drugs which abort the headache when it is just starting, but they are hard on the body, so don't rely on these as the first line of treatment.
