1. Apple a hot water bottle or heating pad to ear
2. Chew gum or yawn a lot. (Especially when short earache is caused by a change of altitude, as in an airplane.)
3. Use nose drops in the nose. This sometimes helps open a clogged ear. Be sure the nose drops were prescribed for you by your doctor when you had a cold, and have not changed color.
4. Take aspirin or any pain reliever prescribed in the past.
5. If an insect gets in the ear, you can often get it to crawl out by holding a bright light close to the ear.
I`ve Tried Lots Of Home Remedies. Warm Sweet Oil Seems To Help But For Me A Visit If It Takes To The ER or Dr. Where They Will Give You An Antibotic And a Small Bottle Of Eardrops 10ml Made By Bausch & Lomb. Sorry This Isn`t Much To Offer. But Only Thing That Will Help Me. Good Luck
Your ear hurts because it wants to...MWAHAHAH... :D Go see a doctor...>:D
your ear hurts and your jaw hurts. plus it makes you dizzy.
Depending on what you're eating, It may not be the ear at all, it might be the jaw. There is a bone that runs from the middle of the ear to the jaw and even though you don't feel anything around your jaw, it may be the reason your ear hurts. It might help if you had a doctor check it out though.

It really depends on where your getting the ear piercing. Tragus, industrial or uncommon ear piercings hurt more then the belly button. If were talking normal lobe piercings, belly hurts more :)
Yes, puncturing the ear lobe hurts, but only for a brief period of time.
