Erectile dysfunction is caused by a variety of medical issues like an injury to his back causing nerve damage to the spine, heart disease, high blood pressure and Diabetes; diseases that prevent a good blood flow to the penis. ED can also be caused by emotional or psychological disorders. There are several medications that will cause a man to have ED too. Heart medications, antidepressants, tranquilizers, and sedatives are all culprits.

When a man has ED he is not able to achieve and/or keep an erection, so he is not able to ejaculate. Even tho the male may be producing healthy sperm, he would have great difficulty conceiving a child, without medical help.

Men with ED need to try to remember that it is most often a treatable physical condition.
