There's a span in which girls USUALLY have their first period. And 13 is still close enough to that to be within the normal range.

You've got some time yet before you need to be concerned.

One thing to remember is that your first chance to become pregnant comes BEFORE your first menstrual bleed.

Meaning that if you have had sex before the visible part of your first period, you might already have gotten pregnant.
