You, my friend, have contracted chlamydia!
Your urine might smell while you are taking pain medication. This just depends on how your body handles them. If you are concerned, see a doctor.
Not usually, but you are more prone to infection while pregnant so take a specimen of urine and have it tested. You have more vaginal discharge when pregnant but it should not smell so get it checked out.
Yes, use of a nicotine patch can sometimes result in a change in the smell of urine. This is due to how the body metabolizes nicotine and its byproducts, which can affect the odor of urine. If you notice a significant change in the smell of your urine while using a nicotine patch, it's recommended to consult with a healthcare provider.
Eukalyptus plants always make me think a cat went somewhere. Everytime I arrive in California it takes me a while to remember that there is no cat urine in the rental car. Maybe it is a weird genetic thing that it smells like that to me and my kids, but it does.
Yes, certain medications can cause changes in the smell of urine. For example, antibiotics like amoxicillin can sometimes give urine a strong, unusual odor. It's always a good idea to check with a healthcare provider if you notice any significant changes in the smell of your urine while taking medications.
Your urine shouldn't have a really noticeable smell to it. Are you sure it's a bleach smell...possibly an ammonia smell? If so maybe you should drink a whole lot more water to dilute it and if you drink sodas maybe lay off of them for a while. You can get bad bladder infections if your urine is too strong. I know water is not very yummy though! Lol
Not sure about the gasoline part but if you have diabetes you can smell of acetone on the breath and urine. Check it at the doctors because it's a serious condition when you are pregnant.
. It usually burns when on skin. Makes a bad Oder after used. Do not use on face. It has a smell for a while after spilt on wood!
"Yes some women have found that when they are pregnant their urine becomes darker and can smell stronger than usual. There a few potential causes of this. Pregnant women tend to have a greater sense of smell and taste so if they may be able to better smell their own urine, even though it actually hasn't changed. Some women believe that they can smell the hormone that is produced and released into urine. That hormone is called the human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG), but it is unknown if women can actually smell the hormone or if they are just smelling stronger urine, or as mentioned above, smelling more of their regular urine. Another reason your urine may smell stronger is because you need more water than you are usually drinking. Pregnancy requires more hydration than you may usually need, not only does the baby need water but the embryonic fluid that surrounds the baby has to some from somewhere. The more water you drink the more water will be released into urine, diluting it and thus reducing the smell. If you drink less water, or require more water due to pregnancy, or even because you are exercising more, then your urine will smell more like ammonia then is may normally. While stronger smelling urine can be a sign of pregnancy, it is not a useful test. Visit your doctor for a blood test, or try a home pregnancy test. Take the home pregnancy test in the morning when the level of hCG is higher in your urine as home pregnancy tests test for this hormone."
Urethritis (inflammation of the urethra) is also a cause for foul and sulfur smelling urine. You really should go to a doctor. He/She will most likely prescribe Doxycycline or Zirythromax. Lots of factors affect the smell of urine. * Level of dehydration. A lack of fluids concentrates the urine and increases the odor. * Foods. Certain foods have an affect on the odor of urine. One of the most common is asparagus, which will give a very strong odor to about 80% of the population. * Health. There are certain health conditions that can affect the smell of urine. Such as hormones from pregnancy and certain diseases such as diabetes.
The smell of urine you're referring to is probably the ammonia that it gives off when it's allowed to sit for a while, which is a product of putrefactive bacteria getting their hands on the nitrogen-rich liquid. This is not specific to urine, it is produced by anything which provides the conditions necessary for certain bacteria to thrive. Anaerobic decomposition (the sort of decomposition which takes place with very little or no access to oxygen) creates far more smelly gases than aerobic decomposition, and the lower the Carbon:Nitrogen ratio in the decomposing matter the more gases as well, so basically what's happened is the organic matter that got in there has decomposed with too little carbon and too little air, producing that famous urine smell.
no it does not. Cat urine often contains/produces ammonia, where as a dogs urine does not. However it is not recommended you smell either!! i think they all smell and taste the same from personal references ;) lol
