Hi,
Brown spotting is known as old blood. When this occurs there is a possibility you could be pregnant. See your doctor for a blood test and also see your doctor to rule out a hormonal imbalance.
Ive had this problem on my last period.Only had brown spotting when i wiped and instead of only lasting for 5 normal days(for me)it lasted 11days.The 2periods before that my period lasted 9 days but it bleed red blood. And each period is getting lighter. They were also late.Pregnancy is not likely since i took a blood test and hpt.I took the blood test a little over a month ago. Took the hpt a few days ago. Yess i realize after a neg. blood test you'd think i wouldnt take a hpt but we havent been trying to get pregnant but havent really been preventing it. If it happens then great if it don't then great. I'm going to the doctor on the 29th but i juss wanted some input on what it could be.hormaonal imbalance is possible but im wondering why it juss started abruptly 3months ago.i did have a miscarriage a little over 3 months ago.But i figured it wouldnt affect my periods for 3months...
Any input??
Brown spotting after a period means that your just coming off and it happens for a day or two after your period its no big deal so dont freak out!:]
This is just normal spotting. Spotting is when small amounts of blood mix with discharge, dark brown just means the blood is taking time to leave the body and thus is going brown. There's no reason to think that this is anything unusual.
What is your question in relation to these facts.
The brown stuff is known as 'spotting' it is just blood mixing with discharge, it turns brown when it comes in contact with air. This is just the start of your period, you can also get it at other times such as at the end of your period or around ovulation.
brown spotting is just what is sounds like. old blood is brown. spotting describes the result of drops of blood on a surface. thus, old blood drops=brown spotting.
Brown vaginal discharge can be related to your period, it's known as spotting and caused when blood mixes with discharge and takes time to leave the body (thus going brown). It can occur just before or after your period, light periods may be only light spotting like this, or brown discharge can be an indication of bleeding for other reasons like hormonal imbalance or ovulation spotting.
Spotting is normal before your period, it's just the start of your period as the uterine lining starts to shed. You can also get spotting after your period, or mid-cycle spotting around the time of ovulation.
Spotting is just when there are small amounts of blood in your discharge. If this is just before your period then it is likely just the start of your period.
it probably is your period but its just slightly off colour. If you are worried consult a doctor otherwise confine in a trusted adult.
You are just spotting. Missing one pill won't cause a period.
Yes, it is completely normal to get brown discharge for four days before your period, this is spotting which is just light bleeding as your period starts. A virgin is absolutely no different to a non-virgin.
As far as I know, a light period is just that...a light period. Implantation bleeding usually occurs a couple days before your period is due, and is just spotting, usually pink-ish or light brown in colour.
