Yes there is, but it depends on the cavity, I once had a little cavity and they just sealed my teeth, if you get a big or spread cavity then you pretty much have no option, but anyway it doesn't hurt that much they once pulled one of my teeth when I was seven. I hope you enjoy and found this answer helpful.
By visiting a dentist for evaluation and possible filling.
for teeth if you have a bad cavity or if you are missing some of your tooth
To treat a cavity or cracked tooth a filling is used to fill the area of the tooth where the decayed material was removed or where the tooth is cracked. There are several filling materials available including gold, porcelain, silver amalgam, plastic, and resin.
When a cavity is filled with solid matter, it forms a solid filling material. This filling material helps restore the shape, function, and integrity of the tooth. It prevents further decay and strengthens the tooth structure.
You can get rid of a cavity by having the tooth pulled. If you want to keep it, you have to have it filled.
"When it comes to repairing tooth decay, there are two most popular dental procedures that are fillings and root canals. Both of them are meant to keep your natural tooth, however, they differ in the extent of the treatment. Dental Filling: A filling is done when tooth decay (a cavity) is very minor and the pulp of the tooth is not affected. Root Canal Treatment: A root canal is performed when the caries or infection have gone to the pulp of the tooth, where the nerves and blood vessels are located. Yes there is a problem. It means that you have a major cavity and you should have your wisdom tooth checked right away. The dentist would either tell you to do a filling on it if it is out enough and if the cavity is not too deep. The other alternative would be to extract it.If the tooth is well out and the cavity is into the pulp chamber (nerve), you might save your tooth by doing a root canal on it. That needs to be discussed with the dentist.By Cyberanto
Isollate tooth with cotton rolls in the process of cavity filling and by the use of suction tubes during cavity preparation
Yes, if you have a small cavity, it will typically need to be drilled by a dentist in order to remove the decayed part of the tooth and prevent further damage. After drilling, a filling will be placed to restore the tooth's structure.
No you can't. You can only get rid of a cavity if you lose the tooth.
The amount of "discomfort" depends on the location of the tooth and the size of the cavity. Usually, the dentist will numb the area, which isn't that painfree, but after that, all is well.
