The pain of the appendicitis almost always demands treatment by the physician. It is the wrong treatment or the ineffective treatment, that can result in problems. Some patients may get the appendicular lump. It is always a problem to manage the same. You have to manage the same conservatively. At times the infection starts to spread and you have to go for surgery. There can be serious problems with the surgery in such patients. At times the untreated patients may get rupture of the appendix. You can land up in peritonitis. The peritonitis is a serious complication and the results may be disastrous.
