A water main break occurs when a pipe in the water distribution system bursts, leading to a sudden loss of water pressure and potentially flooding in the surrounding area. This can disrupt water service to homes and businesses, cause damage to roads and infrastructure, and create unsafe conditions. Utility companies typically respond quickly to assess the damage, isolate the break, and repair the pipe to restore service. Contamination of the water supply can also be a concern, necessitating testing and possibly issuing boil water advisories.
Water will run until a valve or pump is shut off upstream from water main break.
I wouldn't advise it. Should the water main break the cement would have to be removed over the line that it covers. I had mine water main break and there was nothing but dirt over it and it was a 2,000 repair job.
you must not break your water for it can lead to an infection for you and the baby. let nature take its course plain and simple.
It can break the water pump housing, engine block, radiator. Major damage.
Shut off the main water supply of course as NOTHING can stop water on the rampage .. Check out the Grand Canyon
If it's by well, pump not working properly, or at all. Municipal water could be water main break.

There are two main causes of mechanical weathering: frost action and abrasion. Frost action occurs when water seeps into cracks in rocks, freezes, and expands, causing the rocks to break apart. Abrasion happens when rocks are physically broken down by forces like wind, water, or glaciers.
The main thing that happens when there is water in diesel fuel is that it will burn poorly or maybe not even at all. It will also sink to the bottom of the fuel tank.
Main problem would be getting too much water in their ears.
main cause is the hard soil which cannot be wetted by water.
When water is boiled, the film on top of the water, which is usually made up of impurities and minerals, may break apart and disperse into the water or evaporate.
